Just By Pressing These Two Points You Can Eliminate All Kind of Pain
Back pain, hip pain, leg pain and more… We all suffer from it at some point in our lives. While these are common as you age but sometimes, twisting the wrong way, lifting some heavy weight at the gym or at work, and genetics. The pain is usually mild but it can affect your daily life activities.
In most of the cases, the hips are more affected as they bear your body weight and provide support to stand, sit or move around. This pain starts from a very mild throbbing with a burning sensation and builds up over time.
Relying on conventional medications definitely works but it would only reduce the pain for a short period of time and if it’s intense it may not even reduce it at all. This is where the concept of acupuncture through pressure, also known as acupressure, comes in.
According to WebMD, “Acupressure is just one of a number of Asian bodywork therapies (ABT) with roots in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). Examples of other Asian bodywork therapies are medical qigong and Tuina. Shiatsu is a Japanese form of acupressure. Traditional Chinese medical theory describes special acupoints, or acupressure points, that lie along meridians, or channels, in your body. These are the same energy meridians and acupoints as those targeted with acupuncture. It is believed that through these invisible channels flows vital energy — or a life force called qi (ch’i).”
That being said, here are the two points near your hips that can help to eliminate all kinds of pain in no time.
Acupuncture Points for Lower Back and Sciatica Pain
The two core points we’re targeting are located very close to your hip and are termed as GB30 and B48.
How to Located These Points?
The GB30 point, also known as the Jumping Round point, is located on the lateral side of the buttocks, three-quarters into your gluteal muscles right from the middle of the sacrum. This point is found in between sacrum and greater trochanter.
The B48, known as the local acupressure point of hip pain or Bladder Vitals, is found in the middle of your gluteal muscles.
Now here’s how you’ll be applying pressure on these points.
You can apply some oil on your hand just to prevent the friction, otherwise, it’s not necessary.
With a gentle push of the palm, massage your GB30 area in a round motion to lessen the hip pain, buttock pain, lower back pain, sciatica, hip joint pain and muscle sprain. You’ll also feel relieved from lumbar, hemiplegia and leg pain in no time. Just make sure you don’t jerk on the area too much.
To massage the B48 point, you have to be very careful as it is extremely sensitive. It will help you get rid of hip pain, sacral pain, and the sciatica pain. You may also feel inflammation on this point, especially if you are suffering from severe back pain. Massaging it in the same way but with more care will help to alleviate the symptoms quickly. Other than just joint pain relief, it also helps in treating diarrhea and diabetes.
